One of my favourite parts of planning my own wedding was heading down to the Brisbane Flower Markets in Rocklea and coming home with armfuls of beautiful flowers. We also spent a few weekends searching for pinecones which we used as name card holders. My grandmother put all the arrangements together the night before and it was so nice to look around my reception and see all the personal touches.

It might be very awkward if everyone thinks Aunty Grace is having a cracking time on the dance floor when she’s actually swatting away mosquitoes…!
